Do I need an OpenAI API key?
Not for local transcription on Apple Silicon. You need your own OpenAI API key for cloud transcription, AI Fix-It, and EN mode.
Does audio leave my Mac?
In local mode, no. In cloud mode, audio is sent to OpenAI Whisper API.
Which languages are supported?
The interface supports English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Recognition has English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Auto modes.
How many Macs can I use?
One license supports up to 3 Macs. You can deactivate a device in Settings.
